§ Mr. Anthony Grant:The proposals set out in the White Paper" Industrial and Regional Development "and the extension of intermediate area status are designed to encourage consideration of Halifax, amongst other places, as an attractive centre for investment in new industries as well as for the modernisation and development of existing industry.
