Mr. Wall

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) how many British subjects have been expelled or made prohibited immigrants in Uganda in each year from 1965; and in how many cases protests were made by the British representative, and with what result;

(2) how many British subjects have been expelled or made prohibited immigrants in Kenya in each year from 1965; and in how many cases protests were made by the British representative, and with what result;

(3) how many British subjects have been expelled or made prohibited immigrants in Tanzania in each year from 1965; and in how many cases protests were made by the British representative, and with what result.

The cost of obtaining information in the detail requested by my hon. Friend would not be justified. However, if he has in mind any case of particular hardship I would be pleased to make inquiries.
