§ 58. Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what action he proposes to take to ensure that marine engine production will receive adequate financial treatment to maintain employment as has been given to shipbuilding.
§ Mr. Chataway:The Government have no plans at present to give special assistance to the marine engine building industry. However, the industry will benefit from the measures described in the White Paper on Industrial and Regional Development.
