§ Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Wales how many permanent sites have now been established for gipsies in Monmouthshire; where they are located; and if he is now satisfied with the provision made.
§ Mr. Peter Thomas:There is an established site at Cwm Crachen, Nantyglo; Pontypool Urban District Council is acquiring land for a site at Upper Race; and Newport County Borough Council and Monmouthshire County Council have agreed to provide a site jointly in South Monmouthshire. I am keeping the position under review.
