§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if his Department will undertake to inform the public, by television and Press advertisements, of his suggested regional and district boundaries for the reformed local government structure; and if he will invite the public to submit individual or group observations on the suggested boundaries.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI took steps a year ago to inform the public of the boundaries indicated in the White Paper, and in the light of the response I have made the adjustments which I announced on 22nd December.
