HC Deb 20 March 1972 vol 833 c226W
Mr. Bishop

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on British space policy in relation to the Post-Apollo programme.

Mr. Corfield

I have nothing to add to the answer I gave on 7th February last in reply to a similar Question from the hon. Member for Bristol, Central (Mr. Palmer).—[Vol. 830, c.243.]

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what action he is facing as a result of the American proposals for British and Western European participation in the Post-Apollo and shuttle programmes; and if he hopes to make a statement before the summer.

Mr. Corfield

We are considering the American proposals with our European partners preparatory to a decision later this year by the European Space Conference on participation in the programme.
