§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now give a progress report on the sale of the Carlisle and District State Management public houses.
§ Mr. CarlisleOffers for 34 of the smaller public houses have been accepted from the tenant or manager. The remaining public houses are to be sold by public tender. I expect to be able to announce details soon after the Easter Recess.
