§ Mr. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will institute an inquiry into the effectiveness of marriage guidance councils in Scotland, in view of the grants paid from public funds, and submit proposals for improving the effectiveness.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI do not see any need for a special inquiry, but my Department will shortly be meeting the Scottish Marriage Guidance Council to102W discuss the future development of its work, which I am anxious to encourage.
