§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe only representation seeking a ban on beam trawling has been the one passed to me by my hon. Friend. I do not think there is adequate evidence at the moment to justify, in waters off Scotland, an extension of the present ban on trawling within three miles of the coast.
