EARL COWLEY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What consultations have been held between the United Kingdom and her future European partners on the question of U.N.C.T.A.D. III:

What initiatives they are taking in relation to the Third United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

LORD DRUMALBYN

The United Kingdom has played a full part in the consultations with our future European partners and with other members of the O.E.C.D. in preparation for U.N.C.T.A.D. III, the emphasis of which will be very much on the wide-ranging requests which the developing countries themselves have tabled for consideration.

House adjourned at twenty-eight minutes before nine o'clock.
