§ 24. Mr. Milneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in his next review of State retirement pensions, he will consider proposals for them to be 47W geared to the cost of living, the average wage in industry and wage increases in separate industries.
§ Sir K. JosephWe have promised that we will at least restore the purchasing power of pensions at each review. Increases beyond that must depend on the prevailing economic and other circumstances.
