§ The Lord AdvocateThe Secretary of State and I are glad to be able to announce that the Scottish Law Commission is to be strengthened by the appointment of a third full-time commissioner with effect from 1st October of this year and that Professor T. B. Smith, Q.C., who has been a part-time member of the commission since it was formed in 1965, has accepted the new full-time appointment.
