§ Mr. Peter WalkerI have had many discussions with trade unionists as representatives on various organisations, including the economic planning councils.
I have also had a series of informal talks with a number of trade unions whose members are directly concerned with the activities of my Department, and met many trade unionists on visits to various parts of the country. I have also endeavoured to make clear to the trade unions that I would always welcome discussions with them on topics concerning their members which relate to my Department.
