§ Mr. Luceasked the Secretary of State for Employment what information his Department has about the real earnings and fringe benefits of those employed in all the main industries and services in the public and private sector; and if he will publish this information.
§ Mr. BryanI would refer the hon. Member to the extensive information on gross cash earnings in the main industries and services obtained from the New Earnings Survey and other surveys of earnings which is published regularly in the Department of Employment Gazette and to the booklet "Labour costs in Great Britain 1968" published in December, 1971, which gives the most recent information available about employers' expenditure on additional items such as occupational pensions.
