§ Mr. MaudlingNone, because the combined resources of the police, fire and ambulance services and members of voluntary organisations who arrived quickly on the scene were sufficient for the task. My right hon. Friend the Minister for Transport Industries, in his statement on 12th June, acknowledged the magnificent way in which all concerned carried out the work of rescue, and I am glad to have this opportunity of adding my tribute to the help given by voluntary organisations.
