§ Q22. Mr. John D. Grantasked the Prime Minister what reply he has given to Islington Borough Council's request in a letter of 12th May that he should receive a deputation from the Council to discuss the withdrawal of the Housing Finance Bill.
§ The Prime MinisterI have told the Council that, since the proposals in the Bill have been discussed at length and in detail with the local authority associations, I am unable to meet their request.
§ Mr. John D. Grantasked the Prime Minister how many requests he has received from local authorities and other organisations asking him to receive deputations to discuss the Housing Finance Bill; and how many of them he has met.
