§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI have approved Glasgow Education Authority's proposals for discontinuing junior secondary education in two schools and making comprehensive two senior secondary schools. I am still considering similar proposals in relation to schools in the Bridgeton and Hyndland/Partick areas and also the authority's proposals for reorganising its city-wide selective schools. On 14th June the Court of Session granted an order requiring the authority to make arrangements for a selective intake to certain of the city-wide selective schools next session.
