§ Mr. Oakesasked the Minister of Agriculturies, Fisheries and Food what representations he had made to the Commission of the European Economic Community prior to their making of a draft directive on hill farming on 1st July, 1972.
§ Mr. Peter MillsThe Commission has not yet submitted a draft Directive to the Council and when they do we shall be fully consulted. His recent visit allowed the Vice President of the Commission to see something of our hill farming and there have been other informal discussions with Commission officials both in Brussels and during visits by them to the United Kingdom.
