Mr. Walter Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will issue a directive to hospital authorities forbidding Press and television interviews where patients have been involved in serious accidents and where the statements made by such patients could be damaging to others involved.
§ Sir K. JosephHospital authorities cannot act on behalf of the patient except when such interviews would endanger his health or interfere with the working of the hospital.
