§ Mr. Anthony StodartChemical analyses of samples of wastes are under-30W taken by my Department's Fisheries Research Laboratory in cases where the details provided by applicants under the voluntary dumping arrangements warant this, before a decision is reached by my Department on the suitability of the waste for dumping. The voluntary arrangements apply outside the area of three miles from the coast where Sea Fisheries Committees have powers to control fisheries pollution; my Department provides advice to these committees when requested.
