§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 8th May the total number of people registered as unemployed in the North-East Planning Region of Scotland was 7,573. Of these 5,777 were men, 242 were boys, 1,397 were women and 157 were girls. The figures include 1,260 workers who were temporarily stopped.
