§ 45. Mr. Blakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has made to the United States Administration about its embargo on imports from Hong Kong of man-made fibre knit fabrics.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleHer Majesty's Embassy in Washington discussed this question with representatives of the United States Government on 1st May and since then has joined with a delegation from Hong Kong in detailed discussions on the matter. Some progress has been made and the discussions are continuing.
