§ Dr. Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many infringements of maximum resale prices laid down under Section 29 of the Electricity Act, 1957, have been reported.
§ Mr. EmeryInfringements are not regularly reported, but the Department has received 11 allegations of infringement in the past two years. Complaints are also made to the electricity consultative councils which are often able to help in resolving them, and if the hon. Member knows of any examples of infringements of maximum resale prices I hope he will refer them to the appropriate consultative council.
