§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why, in view of the shortage of supplies of meat and the increased exports to France and the countries of the European Economic Community due to the higher prices paid in those countries, he has taken action to reduce the supplies of meat from the Commonwealth countries; whether this is being done to assist Great Britain's entry into the Common Market; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartImports of beef and veal and mutton and lamb from Commonwealth countries are expected to be similar in the first half of this year compared with the first half of 1971.
