Friend has now approved proposals by the local education authority and the Coventry Diocesan Education Committee to cease to maintain Stretton on Duns more Church of England Junior and Infant School, to establish a Church of England (Aided) First School for 120 pupils in the premises in School Lane, Stretton on Dunsmore, and to establish a Church of England (Aided) Middle School for about 320 pupils by enlarging the premises in Hill Crescent by about 240 places. Official letters were dispatched yesterday.
