147WFollowing their meetings with my right hon. Friend, the Trades Union Congress and the Confederation of British Industry have agreed to discuss together the possible development of new machinery for conciliation and arbitration. If thereafter the CBI and the TUC wish to have further discussions with the Government, my right hon. Friend will be very ready to meet them again.
