§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what action has been taken by his Department to try to bring about a merger of the aerospace interests of the British Aircraft Corporation and Hawker Siddeley Aviation Limited in whole or in part;
(2) what requests he has received from either the British Aircraft Corporation or Hawker Siddeley Aviation Limited to assist them in bringing about a merger of all or part of their aerospace interests with the other company.
