Walker Smithasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, having regard to the contents of the letter dated 15th May addressed to his Department by the Ware Rural District Council, he will defer the decision to dispose of Ware Park Hospital and review the possibility of its use as accommodation for the mentally handicapped.
§ Sir K. JosephYes. I understand that Hertfordshire County Council is currently reconsidering possible use of part of the site for mental handicap purposes and the question of disposal will be considered in the context of this new development.
