§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkOut of 23 disputes which have been the subject of proceedings before the National Industrial Relations Court, nine are known to40W have been settled following private or public proceedings before the court judgment is awaited in one case, four cases were dismissed by the court, one withdrawn and three referred to the Commission on Industrial Relations for investigation and report. These figures exclude complaints about individual rights heard on appeal from industrial tribunals, joint applications for approved closed shop agreements and applications by my right hon. Friend for court orders under Part VIII of the Industrial Relations Act.
