§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state the total number of both operational and fire prevention staff employed on fire service duties in the area covered by the London Firefighters Federation.
§ Mr. LaneI understand that membership of the federation is confined to the London Fire Brigade. The Greater London Council tells me that the strength of this brigade on 30th June, 1972 was 4,716.
