§ Sir Alec Douglas-HomeI had a brief meeting with Mr. Gromyko in Berlin on 3rd June. Her Majesty's Ambassador in Moscow also called on him on 29th June for a wide-ranging discussion. They had a useful exchange of views on a number of subjects of mutual interest including the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe. The details of these exchanges are confidential.
