HL Deb 21 July 1972 vol 333 c1030WA
LORD AMULREE

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have any information about the number of London boroughs in which the streets are washed down at night, and how often it is done.

THE PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE, DEPARTMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT (LORD SANDFORD)

I regret that this information is not readily available. It is for each borough to make its own arrangements for the street cleaning service it provides.

House adjourned at three minutes past three o'clock.
