§ Mrs. ThatcherThe University Grants Committee comprises 21 members including the chairman. There are at present two women members, Miss E. J. Bradbury, CBE, Headmistress of Penny-well School, Sunderland, and Mrs. Jean Floud, Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford.
