§ Mr. Peter MillsGrey squirrel control is essentially a matter for occupiers; but I am assured by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment that where local authorities consider that expenditure on their part would be appropriate it is open to them to use their general and discretionary powers under Section 6 of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1963.
