§ Mr. CarlisleIn 1971 4,021 orders were made in care proceedings under Section I of the Children and Young Persons Act, 1969. In none of the 81 cases in which the commission of an offence was the ground for the proceedings was the offence contrary to the Dangerous Drugs Acts, 1965 to 1967, or the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1964.
