§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects the revised refreshment and other allowances provided for in the Police (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1972, will become payable to police officers.
§ Mr. CarlisleMy right hon. Friend expects to lay amending regulations shortly. Subject to scrutiny, these will come into force on 1st September, 1972, and will provide for revised rates of refreshment, subsistence and lodging allowance from 1st April, 1972.
