§ Mr. David HowellIt has not been found necessary to appoint a committee to review the procedure. A number of measures designed to speed up compensation payments have already been intro-388W duced, and the position is kept under continuous review. Small claims can now be settled without recourse to the court and interim advances can be made where the amount of compensation payable has been agreed in respect of any part of a claim. Additional staff have been engaged in an effort further to speed up the processing of claims.
