§ Mr. David HowellNo. Persons who consider themselves entitled to compensation may make a claim under the Criminal Injuries to Persons (Compen-cation) Act (Northern Ireland), 1968, or the Criminal Injuries Acts (Northern 327W Ireland), 1956 to 1970, or at common law, depending upon the circumstances in which the injury or damage was sustained.
