§ Mr. Gordon CampbellNo. The recommended rates of supplementary allowances for work undertaken as part of a course during vacations apply to all universities and colleges in the United Kingdom; and it would be unfair to have higher rates for these particular students. The total allowance for a five-day week is £8 plus travel expenses or, for students who live at home, £5.50 plus travel expenses.
