HC Deb 06 July 1972 vol 840 c209W
Q19. Mr. Adley

asked the Prime Minister if he is satisfied with the co-ordination between the Home Office, the Department of Trade and Industry and the Treasury, concerning the implications for the tourist industry of the implementation of the Fire Precautions Act; and if he will make a statement.

The Prime Minister

Yes. There is close co-ordination between the Departments. The implications referred to by my hon. Friend were carefully considered by all three during the preparation both of the Act itself and of the order applying it to hotels and boarding-houses.
