§ Mr. Anthony RoyleI understand that under the Pakistan Citizenship (Amendment) Ordinance promulgated on 30th June, citizens of Pakistan may now acquire citizenship of the United Kingdom and Colonies without losing Pakistan citizenship as was previously the case. It is too early to say what effect this change in Pakistan's citizenship law might have on the number of Pakistanis in this country applying for registration as citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies.
