HC Deb 04 July 1972 vol 840 c66W
34. Mr. Nicholas Edwards

asked the Secretary of State for Employment why estimates of the number of people in employment in Pembrokeshire in June, 1971, are not yet available; and when he expects them to be available.

Mr. Dudley Smith

Employment estimates for Pembrokeshire can be derived only from aggregations of estimates for local areas. The production of these estimates for some 900 separate areas is a lengthy and complicated task. Total figures should be available in about two months' time and industrial analyses towards the end of the year.
