§ Mr. Anthony RoyleI discussed cultural relations between Britain and China with the Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs and with officials of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. We agreed that a number of specific ideas for exchanges in the cultural field should now be pursued by the embassies in the two capitals. These ideas cover visits to China by British theatrical and orchestral groups, visits to this country by comparable groups from China, exchanges in the field of art exhibitions and sport.
