§ Mr. CarlisleThere is no minimum sentence for fraud. The penalty to be imposed by the court in a particular case is for the court to decide, within the maximum limit laid down by law. My right hon. Friend is not at present contemplating any change in the maximum penalties for fraud or related offences.
