§ 96. Mr. Prenticeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will take steps to expedite the research studies which are being carried out for the Urban Motorways Committee into the environmental effects of urban motorways, and arrange for early publication of the findings, in view of the anxieties of people in Newham and elsewhere on the likely effect of motorway construction in their neighbourhood.
