§ 87. Mr. Charles Morrisonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will sanction immediately the construction of a bypass to the A419 through Stratton St. Margaret, particularly in the light of increased traffic on this stretch of road following the opening of the M4.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineA scheme to by-pass Stratton St. Margaret is now being considered for transfer to the firm roads programme of schemes planned to start in 1973, and a decision is expected by March.
