§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what reply he has now sent to the letter, dated 23rd August, 1971, from the Chairman of the Domestic Coal Consumers Council, concerning consumer protection in the event of the entry of the United Kingdom into the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. RidleyI am aware of the views of the council which have been carefully considered. The Government's proposals on the future of the council will be made known when the Bill containing the accession legislation is published.
