§ Mr. Walderasked the Minister of State for Defence what is the number of medical officers at present serving with the British 331W Army of the Rhine and Royal Air Force Germany, respectively; and what doctor/patient ratio this represents with regard to the total number of Service personnel, married families and dependants in Germany.
§ Lord BalnielThere are 192 medical officers serving in B.A.O.R., and 47 in R.A.F. Germany. Excluding those employed on medical administrative duties this represents a doctor/patient ratio of approximately 1:750.
