§ Mr. Redmondasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether, in view of the number of accidents caused by old and unsafe gas cookers, he will take steps in conjunction with the Gas Council to encourage members of the public still owning such cookers to dispose of them and obtain more efficient gas burning equipment, both in their own and the public interest.
