§ Mr. Graham PageI understand that seven authorities at present issue precepts to the County Borough of Bolton. The number precepting on metropolitan district (b) of the Greater Manchester Metropolitan County after local government reorganisation will be less because the new councils will take over certain functions exercised by separate bodies at present. There may be a further reduction as a result of the proposed reorganisation of water services, but as consultations are still in process it is impossible to say to what extent.
